Final Four...

The next set of posts are great finds from Etsy designers located in the same towns of the Final Four teams... I didn't find any Etsy designers in Storrs, CT but being that I am from CT, I choose a designer a bit closer to my old stomping grounds... KECHENEY Fishprints out of North Stonington. I love the unique method these prints are crafted with and for $45 a pop who could pass them up?

What I made while watching The Skulls...

It's a little blurry... sorry but it was the best I could do...

smokey quartz, gray pearls, and sleepy beauty turquoise.

Dinner tomorrow!

Casey and I are doing a dinner with wine pairing tomorrow evening at this great place around the corner from my place...

Check out what we're eating...

eat your heart out!

As a day time babysitter I often make jewelry while watching crappy day time television... all while babies sleep of course. Today I am watching The Skulls, starring Joshua Jackson- who hasn't looked so good since D3/ Dawson's Creek. While it's has a super cheesy plot it is engaging and terrifying. I became intrigued and wikipedia'd the organization. Very interesting and who knew George H. W. Bush was such a sex pot?

In an effort to eat a little better for my tummy.. I had this entire box of Annie's Gluten Free Pasta! It's so delcious. I overate a little (which Casey will tell you I did all weekend) but it's so yummy I couldn't help myself. Me and Oprah... addicted to food!

Pippa Small

There is only one way to describe these... love love love. Pippa Small the mastermind behind these fantastic semi precious rings is my latest obsession. The raw cuts of these stones are so amazingly breathtaking. I want to wear one on every finger. Visit Pippa. Buy Pippa.

Ay dios mio...

I've been having some issues with the ol' pipes. Getting it scoped out on Friday cross your fingers it's NOT celiac disease, Chron's disease, or IBS. I have a sneaking suspicion it's one of those little suckers though.

A New Desk. A Desk.

I am very lucky to have many things. One of those things is having a Crate and Barrel outlet in my neighborhood. Thousands of bargain priced goods organized in a lovely store a quick drive from my apartment. Heavenly and so wonderful for those moments when you realize you don't have the right utensil or pan.

The other day I went by and saw this little beauty. I don't have a work space. I am usually sharing the kitchen table with my room mate. I think it would be such a treat to have a little desk with a few things on it. My inspiration board would fit in the larger portion of the desk (behind where the computer is) on the wall. Not bad.

I am not sure if it's going to fit well in the space, but I am thinking about giving it a whirl. I would love to have all three pieces but I think just this one will do.

this is your birthday present and seeing the Ting Tings

Erie Basin

Couldn't help but be inspired by diamond rings! My gal pal L over at D&D sent me the Erie Basin website and I love pretty much everything especially the rings! This one is super old- top from the late 1700's and the band from the late 1800's. I would happily wear this piece of history everyday!

Congrats to my friends Claire and James who got engaged over the weekend!!! Can't wait to see pictures!!!

In the name of Love

None of my fellow Fordham friends believed me when I said U2 is playing at the Alma Mater this week. God I wish I was back in college.
