I think I have to dedicate an entire week to this chick.

Every year my boyfriend has a "Happy Birthday America" (aka 4th of July) party. It's a ton of fun. Everyone gets into it wearing red, white, and blue- last year some revolutionary war characters showed up. Sorry for the tangent but you can see why these little lovelies have graced my blog. Tarina Tarantino is the mastermind behind these spectacular homage to Uncle Sam and I am saving my pennies now so they will be mine for the Celebration of America's 233rd Birthday. Thanks Tarina.... you pink haired goddess and Thanks Tina for introducing me!
yup I wasn't kidding about them there revolutionaries!

Knot the moment you've been waiting for.

Well I've done it... kind of. I finally finished my knotting project. I have to redo it though because it completely stretched out. Ah well. It's yellow shell pearls with one piece of turquoise. Not to shabby if I do say so myself! And its for my pal the Nan's the only person I can envision wearing pearls!

Slumber Party

This Saturday evening some gal pals gathered at our place for some wine, fondue, and pj's... it was a glittering success. The evening kicked off with giggles and a pajama contest. Here's Kate modeling a one of a kind frock!

it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

This past weekend Casey and I ventured up to Milwaukee for some much needed R &R. One of the things we did was go to the Milwaukee Art Museum. Which was designed by the spectacular Calatrava. What an incredible space and a must see for anyone! It's absolutely stunning. We saw the Rembrandt exhibit which I thought was good but a little too well lit. We had dinner with friends Molly and Jon at the Hofbrau Haus for fish fry Friday! Which was delightful! That evening we saw ...

LeBron! Who scored 55 points almost beating his record 56 points in a single game! It was quite a show and a great game! After we joined friends Molly and Jon at The New Yorker, a karaoke bar and it was the perfect way to end the evening. On the way home Casey and I stopped at The Brat Stop and wow was it amazing. I had my first fried cheese curds and I get what all the hype is about!

Cu later

I've been really inspired by Copper lately. I love the color and what's better it's a fraction of the cost of gold and silver! Expect to see a lot of Copper in the spring line!!!

Discovery

As if Gweneth Paltrow couldn't be more lovable... She also blogs...

Oscar's 2009

First off what a show! Hugh Jackman- amazing, clothes incredible- truly a magical night. Also, I love People's pictures of Ladies, their dresses, and CLOSE ups of the jewel's! Moving on to the nitty gritty...

What's with SJP's cheeks? Some stars were looking very glamorous and wrinkled while my girls cheeks were stretched to the max! Honey there is NO need to point those out. Were the boobs done too?
Also in the latest People she has these split toe boots on.. blah. It looks like she has a foot claw!

I did love all the talented ladies with their return to old Hollywood looks...Also Penelope, you brought tears to my eyes!

Taraji P. Henson with all her generations in tow...IT'S MILEY!
Finally... a fellow Ram

Gettin' it done

Wahoo I am accomplishing some business things this morning and trying to get energized for the spring additions to EileenEO. I have some pretty wild ideas for this years spring collection and I am trying to get some of the to-do's out of the way. To give you an idea of some of my ideas and a lot of what you'll be seeing- I've taken up knotting. As in knotting pearls. Now not all of my items will incorporate knotting but here and there you'll be sure to see some knots! I am really excited but it's still about a month out!

Already Gearing up for the weekend

I can't believe this week is finally here. I am beyond excited because Casey and I are going to Milwaukee! It's literally the only thing that's been keeping me going and I am thrilled we are just days away. Milwaukee is my new favorite American city. Mostly because people are so great up there. We went there in October to see My Morning Jacket and it was just great. People love to just kick back, relax and drink a ton on beer! The best part of this little jaunt is that we are seeing LeBron James (and the Cavaliers) play the Buc's! I've got our whole itinerary planned now I just need to get snacks and pack! Wahoo! I really can not be more excited.

yay baby!

Inspiration

I've had such a lack of inspiration lately. Cold weather has got me down and distracted by dogs, hats, and shoes. Here's my latest piece which I am down right batty over. It's just a single piece of chain with 6 stars on it. I will probably put another star on it before long. Thoughts? Also this is my own photo... in the past I've hired Melissa who is incredible and does more of my multiple piece shots. I am waiting for spring to do my next round of shots and hopefully I will have a ton of new looks!

Hat

Sarah came home with this bad boy and I am obsessed to say the least...

Woof

Last night Sarah and I went out for a drink at a local bar and on our way we saw a couple with 3 Irish wolfhounds. They looked like mini polar bears. They also had one dog that was about 40 pounds who was desperate for a pat and I willingly obliged (poor little fella.) I was shocked and amazed that 2 people could have 4 dogs in a city- not to mention the fact that they were enormous dogs!

Obsessed

Behold. My latest pair of shoes! It's Seychelles (my favorite shoe ever) Tall Tale. I love these shoes for a multitude of reasons but mostly because they make me stand at about 5'10". Wahoo! I was able to snag them at Akira for a bargain $30 versus the Piperlime $100. They are a little tricky to walk in and I trip every time I wear them, but it's a price I am willing to pay.
