Oh Wow, it's been a WHILE

Sorry for the delay. So much has happened since my last post! I am inspired to write today because I had an oddly flattering occurrence happen. A boyfriend of one of my friends bought her these earrings and the fabulous tribal necklace. He emailed me yesterday to say that my poor friends apartment was broken into and the only thing they took were these earrings! While it's terrible dear Jeannine's earrings were stolen and her apartment was broken into- I feel a little flattered. Don't worry Jeannine, I will happily replace your earrings! Kind of hilarious that these bad boys might be sitting in a NYC pawn shop some where.

That's all for now. More posts soon!

Rain

It's a rainy day here in the Chi. Check out these Rain Within Earrings from Anthropologie. I just discovered their "For the collector" section. Let's just say I am obsessed. Go check it out. Also my pal over at D&D is hosting a give away for a pair of my earrings! Enjoy the day

What I made while watching The Skulls...

It's a little blurry... sorry but it was the best I could do...

smokey quartz, gray pearls, and sleepy beauty turquoise.

I think I have to dedicate an entire week to this chick.

Every year my boyfriend has a "Happy Birthday America" (aka 4th of July) party. It's a ton of fun. Everyone gets into it wearing red, white, and blue- last year some revolutionary war characters showed up. Sorry for the tangent but you can see why these little lovelies have graced my blog. Tarina Tarantino is the mastermind behind these spectacular homage to Uncle Sam and I am saving my pennies now so they will be mine for the Celebration of America's 233rd Birthday. Thanks Tarina.... you pink haired goddess and Thanks Tina for introducing me!
yup I wasn't kidding about them there revolutionaries!

Let's all take a moment of silence to appreciate the full beauty of these Boulder Opal Earrings.

Thank you Irene Neuwirth for creating some of the most breathtaking earrings I have ever seen. I didn't want to tell you this but... they are roughly $18,000. Yes that's three zeros. I will never have the luxury of wearing these guys but I love love love them and am so happy to be blogging about them.

Special thanks to Kate, Kelly, Mel, Tina, Millie, and Casey for coming out last night. It wasn't a huge success but who needs success when you have great people in your life. Thanks guys!

Sparkles!

This sparkle cluster stuff is really inspiring. Here are the Iosselliani crystal cluster earrings at the CO-OP. Notice the little skulls on the ends... subtle and fitting with the color palette.

Happy Birthday Casey!
