While Casey and I were visiting my parents we didn't get a chance to get out on the boat... aptly named Cabochon. I did get bunch of great shots of my dad coming in from a race.

I spent a little under a week at home and while it was humid and crappy weather. It was also kind of relaxing...

What's going on?

Sorry I've be a sub par blogger. I promise to write about all my adventures in the coming days. First here is where Casey, my friend Sam and I listened to Fleet Foxes at the Newport folk festival. As you can see it was amazing.

stiffy

today I have a stiff neck. It's completely debilitating my very busy life. I have about 900 things I could be doing but instead am traipsing about my apartment as my landlord and a bunch of swarthy men come in and out to prep the place for power washing. Luckily Casey put my herbal shoulder thingy in the freezer last night and it's very soothing. I plan to pop it in the microwave soon too. What's even crazier is my horoscope (which I never read) is oddly fitting:

Try to see if you can manage to stay out of too much trouble around the house today. You might not be able to be as effective as you think you might right now, and you could end up tripping yourself up if you're not careful. Just try to take it easy and hold on until next week when many things might start coming into much better focus for you.

Oh my.

This weekend is the first and only wedding Casey and I have this summer. It's destined to be a good time as they are getting married at his alma mater and from what I hear it's a really pretty chapel. I'm really looking forward to meeting some of his friends from college while enjoying an open bar. Casey is in the wedding and I just received word that his tux has a turquoise vest and tie. Hot.
